Advantages: BASS!, You can't hear noise from people outside..., ...and they can't hear you.
Disadvantages: Requires a little fiddling to get the right fit, Feels odd
I bought these as a replacement for some earphones which came with my CD player, and what a replacement. I tried them out when I got back from the shop with some hard trance and was sitting there in awe of the quality - usually I need the bass boost on the CD player to do the tracks any justice but now I have to turn it off or it'll shake my head apart! It's good, crisp bass and it doesn't take anything away from the rest of the frequency range. The quality of the sound is like nothing I've heard on a portable, and I'd go as far as saying it's better than what my hifi kicks out! I didn't have any problems with the buds staying in, but the feel of it takes a little getting used to - it's not really uncomfortable but it's not entirely comfortable either. If I did have problems then there are three different sizes of bud that come with the earphones so it should be fine for most people. The cord is reasonably long so another bonus there. All in all an absolutely cracking pair of earphones.

- 07/11/02 I was going to say what wicked witch said - I agree it's hard to think of more you could say about earphones ;) |

- 30/10/02 A pretty good review! Could do with a little more length, but it'll be hard to make an op about earphones longer I think. |
