Advantages: Bass and treble audible at equal quality, completely noise cancelling.

Disadvantages: Wires sometimes get really tangled, but that's it!

These headphones are the best I have owned so far.

They cancel out pretty much all background noise, and bring new life to your music. If you are stuck with the default iPod ones, my advice would be to pick up a pair of these - it makes your music worth so much more. It's like listening to the recording at the studio, the clarity really is that good.

As mentioned previously, the encoding of your mp3 files will matter. If you are using a shoddy bitrate off a p2p application, then obviously the quality will be impaired, though it will not be because of a fault with these headphones - they play properly encoded mp3's amazingly well.

Comfort-wise, they're unmatched as far as in-ear headphones go. Can't even feel that they are in your ears once you get going. This is both for when you are are just chillaxing or in the gym on the treadmill - secure and comfortable throughout.

All in all, the perfect choice. May be a bit pricy, but these actually used to retail at ~£70, so rest assured you will get your money's worth.
