From my personal knowlewdge i think that these ear phones are the best on the market. From being marketed by sony alone makes them have a very high standard in its own, and the price tag involved is an indication to the quality of these headphones. I think that they are very comfortable in the ear as they sit right into the ear making a cushion around the ear to stop other sounds from coming in and disrupting your music. The quality of the music and sound is absolutely outstanding and they give out an amazing bass sound at the same time. These are Sony's top range earphones, so I know that you are already expecting a very good standard. You will not, in any way, be disappointed. As with all speakers, I tested them over five tracks of varying audio: classical, spoken word, pop, metal and electronic- these provide a good range of pitch types and dynamic changes. These earphones absolutely blew me away. The classical piece had me feeling as though I was in the Royal Albert Hall- the immersion- the depth- the flow of the music was stunning, I cannot stress what a great experience it was.
