From my personal knowlewdge i think that these ear phones are the best on the market. From being marketed by sony alone makes them have a very high standard in its own, and the price tag involved is an indication to the quality of these headphones. I think that they are very comfortable in the ear as they sit right into the ear making a cushion around the ear to stop other sounds from coming in and disrupting your music. These are Sony's top range earphones, so I know that you are already expecting a very good standard. You will not, in any way, be disappointed. As with all speakers, I tested them over five tracks of varying audio: classical, spoken word, pop, metal and electronic- these provide a good range of pitch types and dynamic changes. These earphones absolutely blew me away. The classical piece had me feeling as though I was in the Royal Albert Hall- the immersion- the depth- the flow of the music was stunning, I cannot stress what a great experience it was.
