Funky Little Earbuds

Advantages: Range of sizes in earbuds so you can fit to your own ears.
Disadvantages: Slightly more prices than other basic ear bud phones on the market.
In these modern days of carrying any number of devices with me, all of which contain selections of music, I tend to have a spare set of headphones in each bag I carry (work bag, casual bag and gym bag) so that whenever the need arises or the mood takes me I can pull them out and use them. As I have both an iPad and iPhone my only ask is that any such headphones fit these devices and as they seem to be a standard jack size this is usually easy enough to sort.
Now, normally I spend under a tenner on headphones and being clumsy I get through a number of pairs a year, however, I had read a previous review of how these phones came with different size ear adaptors and was intrigued to try them as other headphones will usually leave me with sore ears after a couple of hours of use. I found a pair via Amazon marketplace for £13 including shipping and decided to give them a whirl on a long haul flight.
Being Sony products these headphone are well packaged and feel like a quality product, made from silicone they are both robust and simultaneously delicate enough to fit within your ear canal - they do indeed come with a selection of three different sized ear buds (in small, medium or large) and they also come with a retractable cord and a carry pouch which makes them easier to find within the confines of a large handbag!
I found that the smallest size ear bud fitted my ears best and unlike with other headphones my ears did not get sore after a couple of hours of use, clearly my ears are pretty small and regular headphones are a little too big to be comfortable. This is a major plus point for me as I want to be able to use them on long haul flights where potentially I will watch a couple of movies using them as well as listen to music.
The sound quality is absolutely fine, no better or worse than other ear bud headphones I have used but because of the fit being more comfortable for me I enjoyed using them more than other makes. I do think these are good value for money, especially if, like me, your ears can become a little on the sore side with regular sized buds. I happily wore these on and off for most of a 12 hour flight and they did not hurt or irritate my ears at all.
Summary: A great item if you have ears on the small side, a great fit!
