Advantages: Sound Quality
Disadvantages: Not comfortable after prolonged use, build quality
This product was purchased after I found that the ipod headphones which came with my ipod were hopeless at staying in my ears while at the gym (purchased from Currys outlet).
These headphones are of the 'one size fits all' variety. The rubber 'band' keeps the actual speaker attached to the side of your head. I have found that after prolonged use the rubber 'band' starts to rub and becomes sore.
The foam ear protectors that seperate the speakers from the ear, easily wear down and holes start to form. And before you know it they become loose and fall off.
Appart from these reliability and design issues these are a good pair of headphones. The sound quality is excellent (about the same as my high quality dj decks set) and for the price are relatively cheapish (better deals can be found on www.pricerunner.co.uk, or check local outlets for sales).
Overall I would not recommend these headphones as the comfortable and build quality issues outway the positives. I would recommend however the phillips sport headphones instead as they are cheaper and more practical for sport uses.
Summary: Get Phillips instead!

- 22/03/08 I've got a pair of these which I also use with an Ipod. I like the sound quality (for the price) but I find that the plastic thing above the ear rubs after prolonged wearing. |
