      A good product

I went through a stage of not being able to put the earbud style headphones in my ears. It began to feel really uncomfortable so on my lunch break one day I went out to buy some headphones that would cover my ears. I really wanted some Beats by Dr Dre but I did not have the spare 100 pounds for this! I bought these as they were Sony and looked quite cool. They only cost £16 so they were dirt cheap and for the build, I think they are quite good.

These have an adjustable head strap and they stretch so you can wear them across the top of your head or on the back of your neck, sometimes they fall off like this but if you get it right you can get them to stay here. These have large, cushioned ears, they are very spongy and they sort of case your ear so they don't apply any unnecessary pressure. They connect to the machine you want to listen to with the standard headphone jack. I think these are quite light for headphones. At the side they have a flat, cheesegrater design and this is supposed to muffle sounds so that your neighbour on the bus can't hear your music and you can't hear them. In the real world, both escape and I think these let a little too much noise in.

You know this for a fact when you put them on and you can hear everything around you perfectly. When you turn the music on, its drowns it out a little bit you can still hear the noises of the world pass by. These also let out a little bit too much noise too and when you take them off and put them round your neck, you can hear the dull base beating though the headphones.

For the price, I did not expect miracles though. I think these are very comfortable but they make my ears feel very hot, all wrapped up in foam pads. The sound quality is fine, I don't really rate the sound quality of my ipod so these just do what the ipod tells them to do. You can't bake a cake without any flour! These offer the same sound quality as my ear buds, nothing better and notihng worse but they are much more comfortable to wear. I was saddened to find they are so noisy but on the whole they are allowing me to wear them much longer than the ear buds. I am going on holiday soon and I will be taking these as for some reason on the plane my ears feel so painful if I try force an ear bud in. These provide a good way of listening to my music without stinging ears!
