My 17 year old son has a rather interesting taste in music that he likes to share with the house at a rather high volume, hence the inclusion of these Sony MDR-XD200 Stereo Headphones in last years Christmas box. i decided to buy a pair of headphones due to the wife nagging on that she wants to watch TV so i thought instead of ruining our relationship i shall go out and buy a big set of muffin earphones so that she could get her daily fix back. Sony is definitely a make that I trust, as I am sure that my very first every stereo unit was a Sony. It is name that I like to return to again and again. These heaphones have 40 millimeter diameter, dome-type driver units, long-stroke diaphragms and neodymium magnets for greater power handling and higher frequencies. This, despite sounding very nice doesn't mean that much to me, so I will do my best, in laymen's terms (being a headphone layman myself) to describe what makes these headphones great.
