In conclusion I feel these are another quality pair of headphones from Sony and I would happily replace with the same model if they were to break. Crowned ReviewSony MDR XD200: Fantastic headphones! (816 words)

I wouldn't normally think to write a review about something as trivial as a pair of headphones, however, I have a pair of these currently stuck to my ears and they're doing a fantastic job, so I figured there would be nothing better to do than to write about them. Sony MDR-XD200 Headphones. They're a favourite for Argos, I believe, probably because they are not too expensive, look good, sound great, they're from a well-known brand, and, well, given the oppurtunity wouldn't you choose huge DJ headphones over little white iPod earphones? I would. PRICE For a good pair of headphones, these are not particularly expensive at all. I got ...  Read the complete review

Saving me from my sons music. (753 words)

My 17 year old son has a rather interesting taste in music that he likes to share with the house at a rather high volume, hence the inclusion of these Sony MDR-XD200 Stereo Headphones in last years Christmas box. I think I paid around £20 for the headphones off amazon.co.uk; my thinking was that £20 was not much to pay for a pair of Sony branded headphones that he will probably tread on or pull the wire out of within a few months. We are now in September and the headphones are still in one piece after nine months of heavy handed use. I personally am not a headphone wearer, I do not like to be cut off from the noises around me, but for the ...  Read the complete review

Sony MDR XD200: Sony Leaky (551 words)
by - written on 31/05/11 (Very useful, 17 readings)
Rating:

i decided to buy a pair of headphones due to the wife nagging on that she wants to watch TV so i thought instead of ruining our relationship i shall go out and buy a big set of muffin earphones so that she could get her daily fix back. I deliberately went out to get a pair that were large and would be comfortable to wear, tesco is just round the corner and had a decent selection, i looked at others some cheap and some expensive. Saw this pair of Sony mdr xd200 being reduced from £25 to £16 and being a fan of sony i just naturaly bought them, packaging was good with good info given and the headphones looked huge, just what i needed. Once ...  Read the complete review

Sounds Of A Bargain (307 words)

Sony is definitely a make that I trust, as I am sure that my very first every stereo unit was a Sony. It is name that I like to return to again and again. I have used headphones for work purposes for many years, but this is actually a pair that we had at home a while back, just kicking around in the office. My friend used to use them just to listen to material on the PC. They are an affordable and pretty solid set of headphones, designed for the price savvy headphone buyer. Aimed firmly at the home market, what you get here are stylish and suave headphones with a comfort fit to boot. When I used them I did indeed find them pleasurable to wear for the first few ...  Read the complete review

Sony MDR XD200: Cheap and cheerful headphones packing a punch. (416 words)
by - written on 05/06/09 (Very useful, 127 readings)
Rating:

These heaphones have 40 millimeter diameter, dome-type driver units, long-stroke diaphragms and neodymium magnets for greater power handling and higher frequencies. This, despite sounding very nice doesn't mean that much to me, so I will do my best, in laymen's terms (being a headphone layman myself) to describe what makes these headphones great. For listening to music these headphones are superb. They deliver a great deal of clarity and one of the better bass responses I have experienced from a pair of headphones. Where typical earphone headphones would lack these cans pack a punch, sounding fantastic at any volume without the fuzz you may expect at high ...  Read the complete review
