Good value for money earphones! (Sony MDR XD200)

The Sony MDR XD200 is what I would consider as a "good value for money" product. I recently bought this item for £17.99 and I think, value-wise, it is worth the money. However, money aside, the more important question is that of sound quality.

These earphones have an excellent sound quality, far better than I was actually expecting for the price. The only downside I can find with the sound is the bass. The bass is not particulary strong, however the treble and mid more than make up for this. As such, if you are a heavy bass listener then I would recommend looking elsewhere, but if you are, as I am, just a regular mixed music listener, I think these do the trick.

Now on to appearance, these, I think you will agree, are good looking headphones. They still look pretty stylish despite the fact that they came out a number of year ago. The material does feel a little cheap, but what can you expect, they are cheap!

The negatives: there are two main problems with these headphones, one is the length of the cable: way too long for someone like me who was wanting to wear them with my ipod. I have to fold the cable up and store it in my pocket which then looks bulky. The other problem is leaking, these earphones do leak the sound a bit, so don't have them up too loud on a bus.
