Naturally these headphones are only useful for at home, as they would be impractical outside; as they are on ear, but other than that they are fantastic. They have a very long 3m cable, so are excellent for watching tv from a reasonable distance away. They are also amazingly reliable - I have had mine for nearly 3 years and yet they still work perfectly, aside from the cable tangling up quite a bit. However they sound amazing, almost as good as some studio monitor headphones I own and are very comfortable, although over long periods of time they can get a bit irritating. They also have a switch that changes between movie and music modes, but it makes very little difference, just a slight bass boost on movie. They also let a large amount of sound in and while they do not claim to be sound proof, it would be nice if they were at least a little bit. Overall then they are fantastic headphones which I think are by far the best sets for the price, as I own several similar sets of headphones from the same sort of price bracket.
