Sony MDR EX35LPB ... bought these head phones around 4 months ago due to the fact my other head phones got stuck in my car door therefore broke. these headphones were the only headphones in the shop that would fit my phone and they were at a reasonable price so i bought them for around thirty pound. i dont buy cheap headphones because they are uncomfortable and the sound quality is useless. i was extrememly disapointed with these headphones because they were rather expensive and they did not fit in my ears properly. if i was walking down the street they would fall out of my ears constantly and this was quite annoying because i had to keep putting them back in. because of the price and the... Sony MDR EX300SLB ... headphones are the best I have owned so far. They cancel out pretty much all background noise, and bring new life to your music. If you are stuck with the default iPod ones, my advice would be to pick up a pair of these - it makes your music worth so much more. It s like listening to the recording at the studio, the clarity really is that good. As mentioned previously, the encoding of your mp3 files will matter. If you are using a shoddy bitrate off a p2p application, then obviously the quality will be impaired, though it will not be because of a fault with these headphones - they play properly encoded mp3 s amazingly well. Sony MDR EX700LP ... my personal knowlewdge i think that these ear phones are the best on the market. From being marketed by sony alone makes them have a very high standard in its own, and the price tag involved is an indication to the quality of these headphones. I think that they are very comfortable in the ear as they sit right into the ear making a cushion around the ear to stop other sounds from coming in and disrupting your music. The quality of the music and sound is absolutely outstanding and they give out an amazing bass sound at the same time.
