These were the waterproof headphones that I bought in order to listen to my Iriver player. The first headphones that came with the case needed cutting to size and I went too far. Leaving them too small and not able to be used. I went out and bought the cheapest pair of waterproof headphones I could find, aware that they can be quite expensive.
I found this set for £15 and it was a bargain. These made life easier as they come with three sizes of headphone bud so you are always going to have the right size to fit your ears. Small, Medium and Large; these should fit most people and I found the medium ones were the right size for me, but the large also fit. There is not that much difference between the big and medium ones but it helps. The buds are rubbery and form a tight little seal in your ears so that you can hear them well. As they are not noise isolating and without any special features, you are really just relying on the buds to fit as snug as possible.
The headphones come in a small case for you to store them in and they are made from waterproof material so that you should not have any problems in the water or anything.
Sound quality is good, much better than the old ones and this is down to the fit they give. The quality of the headphones is high and you can tell this by the feel of them, they do not feel like they will break easily.
These are compatible with all headphone taking equipment and not just waterproof cases. I would say that if you go running in the rain or you want them by a swimming pool/Jacuzzi then these will make sure that if they do get wet, they will not break.
This brand specialise in waterproof products so I am more than happy to buy their items. These are reliable, really I have had no trouble with them at all and I would consider that as they come with a case, they will have a high life expectancy as they will not get mistreated. I think these are good value for money and I would certainly recommend them.
A while ago I reviewed the H2O audio waterproof armband and I moaned that the headphones supplied kept falling out. I really enjoy listening to my music whilst swimming as since injuring my back, it has been the main source of exercise for me. I took the plunge (pun alert) and bought some new waterproof headphones, this time from the more well know brand Speedo.
==Price and availability==
All waterproof headphones are expensive and these are priced quite competitively considering the well know brand name. These cost £25.99 from online. Amazon are currently stocking them.
These are black and feature the standard 3.5 mm connection which slots into the case and into the ipod. These have a long extendable lead so you can wire them up your back so that the wire does not get in the way of your stroke. The ends are much better than other models as they have a clasp that fits over your ears with chubby rubber ends that fit into your ears. These come with three sizes of ear buds which is common for waterproof headphones and you can change them so that they offer the best fit. I take the small size and find that they stay in well and are comfortable.
These are much more comfortable than any other waterproof headphones I have come across and I like the rubber as it has much more give to it. The earbuds fit comfortably and due to the pointy ends you can really wedge them in. The clasps also assist in making them secure. The sound quality is good, better than my last pair but sound still seems a little bit distorted and I have to hike up the volume much more than regular headphones. The comfort and style of these are the main attraction though and I am pleased with them. The sound quality is fine, nothing to write home about but it is pleasant to listen to my music though them.
I love, love, love being able to listen to my music whilst swimming. I get so bored when it is quiet and you only have your thoughts to entertain you. I put on a good bouncy album and I am off! I don't find the headphones restrict me in anyway and I find that these are of really good quality. I definitely recommend them if you are looking for a good pair of waterproof headphones for your case. If you like running in the rain then I would also recommend these to you! The style combined with the quality makes these a really good purchase and the sound quality is adequate for something that is going to live and play in water.
