If you have a small head or dont want to wear them for hours, recommended

@ Build Quality, Comfort @ I have had these headphones for two years and they have been the most durable pair of headphones i have ever had - constantly being folded away and slammed against a wooden desk they have some small cracks starting to appear on the outside of the casing at the top of the plastic clips. Apart from that mechanically its been great, no problems with audio quality and even being played at high volume for hours has not worn the speakers. These are comfortable to wear if you have a small head but if like me you have quite a large head then even extending them to their maximum length and spreading them out quite wide will be a strain on the headphones and it feels like they are digging in. After hours of wearing these constantly the top bar that crosses over your head will start to dig in too and this for me actually becomes painful after a couple hours. For smaller heads though its fine. The ear covers are soft and easy to hold over your ears, even after hours my ears never feel like they are being pushed inwards and they never become painful so the cups are quite good for comfort but the rest isn't that great. @ Sound Quality @ These headphones seem to be focused a lot on bass and subwoofer output so bass guitars sound great and dubstep fans will love these - bass drops just vibrate and there is no distortion or lack of power behind each thump either, you don't just get an echoing bass thud you get a simple bang and thats it, no off sounding notes or unbalanced noises so either side of these headphones sounds exactly the same no matter what you're playing. Guitars and electric guitars sound quite warm and trailing notes don't echo or vibrate, they sound refined. Drums and symbol crashes are a little dry and don't have that oomph you get from more expensive headphones, and the hi hats are the same so these really aren't made for those who like anything other than rock or dance genres. Classical does not sound that great with these. They are quite loud though because on full volume you can close a wooden door behind them and still hear them through the door, as i have done on many occasions so its just like having a small stereo, and at high volumes sound quality isn't reduced so they still sound fantastic. @ Overall @ The sound quality of these headphones is fantastic, i think they have a great feel to them and they are also very loud so an added bonus there but for those with a particularly wide or tall head these will begin to feel uncomfortable very quickly, so not recommended for you. If you just want them for short bursts of listening to music now and then these are the headphones for you.
