Advantages: Low cost, robust and durable
Disadvantages: Sound leakage
I bought these headphones some months back, the driving factor behind the purchase was the price. I bought them for use with my guitar effects peddle and they've proved more than adequate both for this and for your bog standard listening to music. I also needed them to be robust enough for use by my 12 year old son and not have to worry about them being damaged in the process.
The comfort factor is the main advantage of these headphones. The area around the ear is sufficiently padded, as is the section that rests on your head. They can easily be worn for long periods of time with no issues at all. There is also no slippage from the head at all during use. Even during the throws of guitar soloing and all the head swinging that involves, they remained firmly glued to my head.
The chord is approx. 3 meters long which is more than adequate, allowing you to move round the room with ease without interfering with your listening. The set comes with an adapter for the jack allowing for two different sizes meaning you should have no issues connecting to most electronic devices.
The headphones have proved to be family friendly and have held up well to the battering and bruising they have received from the hands of my son. The only issue however, as alluded to in other reviews, is the leakage of sound. If you're sitting next to someone who is wearing these headphones then you're going to know about it. The sound leaks out quite badly so if you intend to sit in the living room listening to music while the rest of the family is watching TV, you're going to have some complaints on your hands.
In all I would recommend these headphones if you're buying on a budget or if they are for use for the whole family. If however these factors aren't an issue, I would suggest going a bit more up market.
Summary: If your looking for good, low budget headphones then you can do alot worse
