... less than £5.  They stop unwanted background noise interfering with the music I am listening to. They are a good fit in my ears so my music doesn't leak out to disturb other people.  The music is very clear and not tinny when I wear these earphones but if I am listening to music with a heavy bass I can hear a bit of buzzing sometimes. DURABILITY I have been using these earphones for 10 weeks now and do not use them every day. The last time I used them I saw that the plastic cable was starting to come away from the earp...more

Technika In-Ear Headphones: Block out the world with these! (566 words)

As I'm sure many of you have found with some of the cheaper brands of headphones, it can be very hard to find any that actually block out the sound of everything around you. I looked for a long time to try and find something that cost me less than £10 that actually did what I needed them to do on the trips to and from various places on public transport and I think I finally found something that does what I want it to do within my price range! The packaging for this product - which is only available in Tesco, by the way - comes in a cylinder shaped transparent plastic tube which has another plastic tray inside it containing the headphones so that you can see ...  Read the complete review

Technika In Ear Headphones Pink I bought these earphones a few months ago from Tesco. They cost me about £5 when I first bought them. However last night I went back to Tesco and bought another pair. This time they were reduced and cost me only £2.49 which I think is a really good, reasonable price to pay for a pair of good earphones. The reason I needed a new pair wasn't because the first pair had broken or anything like that, it was just because I left the first pair at my friend's house, she lives about six hours away and I won't be seeing her for a while so it makes things easier just to buy another pair. I use earphones all the time and can't go ...  Read the complete review

THE DESIGN The earphones come in a slim plastic cylinder and you have a choice of colours.  I've got a silver pair but liked the pale blue ones, they would have clashed with my pink iPod though.  The earphones have round ends so they are comfortable in your ears but they are long so don't feel like they are in properly sometimes. PERFORMANCE I bought these because of the cheap price so I wasn't expecting very much from them.  Technika is Tesco's own range of electronic products and these earphones cost less than £5.  They stop unwanted background noise interfering with the music I am listening to. They are a good fit in my ears so my ...  Read the complete review

I got these from Tesco as an experiment..In the past I have found mixed results in supermarket brand items, so some in-ear headphones for under a fiver couldn't be turned down. I have had them for about 2 months and have used them wherever possible just to test them. I have a large amount of headphones ranging from these to £300 studio quality ones so I like to think I have a varied and full view on them FUNCTIONALITY .............................. They have a 1.2 m cable that is ideal for mp3 player use because of the lack of excess cable. They come with 3 sizes of ear bud so they will fit most ears, they are as comfortable as the more expensive ...  Read the complete review

Technika In-Ear Headphones: Not brilliant! A bit tinny! (566 words)

I have already written a review on technika premium headphones which I bought after using these ones ( you will find out more if you read on!!! ). I bought these last year for £3 I believe, my girlfriend works for tesco so I got a 10% discount ( hehe ). I wanted a pair of headphones that I could wear out and about that I wouldn't worry about breaking or losing them. I constantly get the bus and train in Brighton, music passes the time! ---- what do they look like?? --- They are a very simple plain black design, with a black lead. They have a stylish silver part just before the headphone. To be honest they look rather good for the price, they do not ...  Read the complete review
