Advantages: Cheap
Disadvantages: Tinny sounds :(
I have already written a review on technika premium headphones which I bought after using these ones ( you will find out more if you read on!!! ). I bought these last year for £3 I believe, my girlfriend works for tesco so I got a 10% discount ( hehe ). I wanted a pair of headphones that I could wear out and about that I wouldn't worry about breaking or losing them. I constantly get the bus and train in Brighton, music passes the time!
---- what do they look like?? ---
They are a very simple plain black design, with a black lead. They have a stylish silver part just before the headphone. To be honest they look rather good for the price, they do not look like your typical cheap headphone, this is mainly why I chose them. They come in a cylinder plastic tube with the headphones visable. The packaging is tacky, yet the headphones looked great. They are a good length, and will extend from your pocket to your ear without any problems.
--- cost ----
For under £3 you can't complain too much, they are only a fraction of the price of others on the market. If you want a pair of headphones for day to day use, then these are for you :) they could easily charge more for them than they are currently!
---- sound quality ----
They sound very tinny, which is a let down! I wish they sounded better, I know you shouldn't expect them to be amazing. They sound fine at a low level, but any sort of volume and you will lose quality. They are average at best! What more should you expect. I find they are better for watching videos/movies on the iPhone. They are good for the price, so don't let my high expectations put you off at all.
---- what do they feel like? ----
They feel nice in the ear, they are comfortable to wear and do not cause your ear to ache after wearing them after a while. My more expensive headphones start to become painful to wear after a while, these don't which isn't reall positive. They are very light so you don't feel like your wearing anything in your ear :)
--- why I don't use them anymore ---
As I said earlier, I own a different pair now! The premium version of these headphones are a lot better! They are a few quid more expensive but the quality is amazing. Have a look online for them. There isn't too much difference, but the sound quality is far better.
--- who would I recommend them too ---
Anyone who wants a cheap pair of headphones for day to day use. They would be great for kids as there first headphones! They will enjoy using them and they won't be too bothered about the quality. If your a music genius, I don't think these are for you. For the price they are suitable for anyone.
--- so overall? ---
These headphones are great value, I would recommend you look at the technika premium headphones first because they are much better. But these do the job!
Thanks for reading :)
