ARE THEY ANY GOOD?

No. These earphones are uncomfortable in my ears because they rub quite badly after I've been wearing them for more than a few minutes at a time. Mine are purely white and after less than a week they looked very grubby and I could never get them looking as clean as they were again.

The Thomson earphones don't stop either sound leaking from my music and don't keep the traffic noise from spoiling my enjoyment of the music. Sound is very indistinct when I wear these earphones, it's very tinny and even when I turn the volume right up I have trouble making out the nuances of the music and even lyrics can be so indistinct that I can sometimes not make them out.

The jack plug used to slide smoothly into my iPod and my unbranded MP3 player but now it feels very gritty even though I keep both the jack and the socket clean at all times. When I run my finger along the metal jack it feels like its been pitted a bit, this can't be through overuse because I have not worn them very often because of the disadvantages I have already mentioned.

When I first bought these earphones I liked them and still think they have an attractive crisp design, if they worked better I would definitely have replaced them but as they are so uncomfortable and because they spoil my enjoyment of my music I am now going to purchase another brand.
