In terms of comfort the headset is very well padded. I often play PS3 for up to hours on end, and i have struggled with annoying or uncomfortable headsets in the past that really begin to cause irritation after lengthy periods of time. Not so with the X31 though as they are both light and comfortable and really provide no discomfort at all.

If you are serious about games, or simply don't wish to disturb your parents or neighbours with excessive sound levels, then you may want to think about investing in a headset. Sony and Microsoft do manufacture their own versions, but these are of pretty mild quality and i would recommend broadening your horizons if you wish to make a purchase of real substance. Enter the Turtle Beach Ear Force X31 wireless headset. Now i know some peoples initial reaction will be of jaw dropping horror, looking at their £80 price tag, and yes that is expensive in anyones books for essentialy a pair of headphones.
