Great Headphone. Extremely comfortab. These headphones may look the part, but the sound quality is anything but inspiring. I immediately returned my pair after having been a long time owner of Sony V700DJs and now the amazing Audio-Technica athes7. If you are looking for strictly style these are your phones, but expect $25 headphone sound. The cable is not resistant, the rubber thing around the 3.5 jack rips and cable is exposed and the colored thing on the pads starts to fall after a some uses/maybe months, I wouldn't recommend them to heavy users. Bought this for way over price. way too expensive, and while bass and sound quality was impressive, from the start the quality was not exactly crisp. However, it got really bad when i realized that for whatever reason the bass in the right headphone had entirely disappeared. Therefore, most of the sound came out of the left, and i was left with expensive, hard to fix, difficult to return, single ear headphones. Thanks, WESC. Maybe next time slackers shouldn't be designing overpriced "vintage" headphones. The earcups pivot up and down freely on their brackets but the only adjustment of the headphones, per se, is by means of pulling the cup-holding bracket through the white mounting point on the headband. This means they can be made to fit most head sizes but the lack of rotational adjustment means the 'phones can't fit to the angle of your ears. With the fairly strongly sprung headband and slightly miserly padding on the cups, this can make wearing these headphones for more than an hour a little painful.
I am a huge music fan and spend at least 80% of my waking life listening to music. This being said, I never like feeling I've been ripped off when buying headphones. I usually stick to middle market models such as these.
I have been faithful to in ear headphones for as long as I can remember but after my last pair broke, (after 2 days of use), I decided to shop around a little.
I went to my local HMV where they had a whole range of WeSC headphones. All different sizes, shapes and colours. I eventually plumped for a nice bright red pair of these beauties and I am very glad I did.
They are a comfortable fit on your head and are very easily adjustable to get a fit no matter the size of your head!
The cups are well padded and you still feel comfortable wearing them after hours of solid use.
Personally, I enjoy my music with the bass levels turned right up, headphones have let me down in the past either being poor with bass levels or simply blowing up after a few days. 2 weeks after buying these, they are still going strong.
My only negative here is that the cable is far too long. It was a problem with all WeSC models I could see. Coming in at a whopping 1.3 meters seems a little excessive, although useful if being used by a DJ perhaps.
All in all, a great set of heahphones that not only look the part, but pull off the sound as well.
