firemanspam Jabra BT250v: ... When using this device, the phone itself uses more power than usual, because it has to be connected by bluetooth to the headset, even without making a call. I have never lost the signal, in fact I have had no trouble with this brilliant little gadget whatsoever. Jabra have a website, take a look here:- http://www.mobilefun.co.uk Full list of the spec:- Product Type Headset - wireless - Bluetooth. Recommended...

Codfish Jabra BT250v
... ve had this bluetooth headset for a good while now and have had mixed experiences with it so far. First of all it is very functional and does most things well. For most driving you can hear and be heard clearly although this does become more difficult at motorway speeds. There have been a few times where i d wished the volume would go a bit higher. The battery is very good and gives long standby times although there doesnt really seem to be much of an indicator of when it s going to need charging. It is so comfortable to wear I often forget to take it off and after a lot of use it s still working fine. I have however had constant problems with the LED light on it which...

... is really rather sensible for anyone who needs to drive for their job to get a headset as a ban = no job! The other reason to use these headsets is if you are concerned about mobile phone ear burn! The Jabra headsets i use are Bluetooth, which basically means that you can connect wirelessly to your mobile phone ( if it is compatible). A password is required to set this up so that anyone cant just connect to your bluetooth device! To use this device it clips over your ear & ...

... a mobile phone, sad, but true. What to do then? Last year I read up about this wonderful new Bluetooth technology (now being used for the N-Gage phones), which is radio frequency connectivity standard. There are plenty of mobile phones which support it, I happen to have the Nokia 6310i. Brilliant phone, but it doesn't like being dropped on Welsh roads for some reason. Anyway, I found that Jabra manufacture a Bluetooth earpiece, which would connect to the Nokia. I ordered one from the US ('cos it was a lot cheaper than the UK back in December last year) and got it delivered. Open the very fancy box and inside is small earpiece thingy, a charger/cradle, power...
