Klipsch Image S4i Headset
by BobbySweetTooth Klipsch are well-known for producing high-end audiophile equipment and have good rep for such, hence my purchase, but after buying these as a budget audiophile upgrade for the impending summer weather - which we don't seem to have been blessed with - I've got to say I'm fairly upset with the purchase. Although, this is most-likely due to ... me buying the wrong 'phones for the types of music I listen to - i.e. dubstep, screamo, metal. These 'phones have a nice quality to them, and don't look too tacky. The cord length is more than adequate, and is of a decent thickness, meaning that these 'phones will suit your need and will last a decent amount of time without worrying about a channel dying, which is a unfortunately fate which has met many of my other in ear 'phones. The casing of the actual drivers is very well constructed and, although not putting it to the test, seems like it would stand the test of time - meaning the 'phones could take some punishment. They also come with a carry-case which ensures that the wires don't get tangled and therefore break, which is an added bonus. The sound, which is the most important aspect of a pair of 'phones, left me sorely disappointed. The vocal elements of the songs overpowered the bass, if you call call it that, and would pick up when the vocals had ended. Essentially if you were to draw the sound it'd look like a roller-coaster ride! The mids and the highs were okay, at best, and are undoubtedly the ranges which Klipsch had decided to focus upon with these 'phones. If there were highs/mids/basses layered then you'll only hear the higher ranges. In an attempt to improve the quality of the music I bought various non-native music players from the Play Store and attempted to EQ the music myself - something I've not had to to with other headphones such as my Koss Porta pros. Although this manual EQ'ing had some use it did not really have the favour I desired as it compromised some of the other elements of the music! I didn't thoroughly test out the built in mic for calls and such, but when I did the experience was adequate and those who I engaged in conversation could understand what I was saying. Overall, whilst I'd recommend these 'phones I'd only willingly recommend them to someone who doesn't share the same musical taste as me - and I'd only recommend them at a sale price, and I managed to snag them for £16 (IIRC). Otherwise I'd suggest you should buy a pair of Koss Porta Pros! Read the complete review |

Klipsch Image S4i Headset
by MakaveliTheDon I bought these headphones because I was tired of my standard tinny-sounding iPod headphones. Firstly, the headphones are very attractive and pleasing to the eye. The rich black and contrasting silver make the headphones look very very classy. When they are in your ears, they don't look overly prominent but look small and, to ... some extent, unnoticable, which is great if you're trying to listen music in class! When these headphones are in your ears, it feels like they are not! They feel weightless, comfortable and do not agitate you in any way whatsoever, which is fantastic because as you may know, some earphones can be very painful to keep in for long periods of time! Now, the quality of the earphones are matchless! The sound is so crystal clear and the bass is, well, BOOMING! I love it. In addition, they leak very little sound! I was debating on these headphones or the more wellknown BEATS, but I'm glad I went for these (BEATS leak so much sound, they are like speakers!). I have become so accustomed to using these, I use them for EVERYTHING! I use them for music, while on the computer etc. because the sound is so good. Of course, there is a litte issue with price - it's rather costly. However, I do not regret spending the £60 on them one single bit! And I mean that will all honesty! GREAT BUY!!! One tiny flaw with these headphones are they have very think wires, which seem like they can break very easily. Also, the headphones seem very fragile but you do get a nice silver case with the headphones, so it's not too much of a problem! Read the complete review |

Klipsch Image S4i Headset
by danny691 I have owned the Klipsch Image S4i headset for around 4 months now. I paid around £50, though they can be bought at a slightly more competitive price if you shop around online (£40-£45). I bought the headset/headphones for use with my Smartphone, I have used the headset with two different Blackberry handsets with positive ... results. The Klipsch Image S4i headset looked and felt great when I first clapped eyes on it. The quality was clear to see and feel. I think with products such as headphones/headsets you really have to see the product before you buy it. One of the main requirements when I am looking for a new product like this is the fit. Fitting plays a huge part in sound quality and so the fact the headset comes with a few different sizes of tips. Due to the excellent fit I find the noise isolation to be top notch and when you are taking a phone call it is always good to have clarity. The overall package includes the headset, metal case, pouch, clip to attach the mouthpiece to your clothing and a cleaning tool for the earpieces. Other than being able to make and recieve calls using the headset you can also listen to music through them. I have a playlist on my Blackberry that I can play through the headset and volume can be easily adjusted. There are three buttons on the headset. Two for volume control and one for answering and hanging up phone calls. I love the simplicity of the headset. The volume keys can also be used during phone calls to alter the volume. I think the design and quality feel to the headset sets this particular pair apart from other headsets on the market. I love the styling and it is so unique. Although the price isn't all that cheap I still feel they are well priced and offer a lot for the price. The sound quality when listening to music is really something Klipsch are punching above their weight on. The clarity and detail is sublime and as the noise isolation is impressive I am sure you will not become bored of your music with this headset. The only minor irritation with this headset is that the bass can be a little on the heavy side, especially when it comes to dubstep and r+b tracks. Overall this headset ticks all the right boxes as far as I am concerned. The headset has its clear advantages over normal headphones when used alongside a mobile phone. Often headsets fall short on sound quality, but overall the Klipsch Image S4i headset stands up very well to headphones more focused on music than voice. If you buy this headset purely for phone calls then I would question your decision, but I am basing my 5 out of 5 star rating on this being an overall calls and music headset.
