The last review I did on my normal apple earphones I gave them 3 stars.. I didn't really like them as I found one ear piece always stopped working and they tend to fall apart.

So when I opened my iphone box and found the earphones with them, I did not bother using them for a while and used my old pair... Until I needed some new ones.

When I used them I thought they would turn out just like the other apple earphones, however they are actually a lot better in terms of quality. I've been using the earphones for many months now and the sound is clear and both ear pieces are working well, and I haven't had any problems with the mic.

The volume control is handy whilst using them, as you do not need to pull your phone out your pocket. They work well, both when on calls and on the phone and when listening to music.

The ear pieces themselves fit nice and snug in your ear without them falling out.. and surprisingly the rubbery material around the ear piece hasn't fallen apart!.. something I found quite common on the normal apple earphones.

The earphones themselves are priced at £26 on the Apple website. Not a price I would buy them for, as I know of other ones which are cheaper and work just as well.. but as I got them free with my phone I can't complain.

Do note though, that the perfect white colour that they are when you first open them, will never last!. Which is why I always prefer black earphones. Once these white ones have been sat in my pocket they always tend to get a little shade of blue on them which doesn't look as nice as they once were.

I give these earphones 4/5 stars. It's definitely better quality than the previous ones so i've upped a star for it.. but it loses a star for the price, and the fact that when using it I always wish the volume control button would be a bit lower down. It would also have been good if you could use them to switch to the next/previous track when listening to music, as that would have been handy too.
