Advantages: good sound quality and mine were free

Disadvantages: expensive and uncomfortable

When I bought my iPhone 4s, it came with a pair of these Apple Earphones, I was very pleased to get a freebee, however these are not my favourite earphones and I only really use them when I cannot find my pair of Skull Candy earphones.

What Are They?
These are a pair of white ear bud earphones that sit in the outer ear, these are good for people who do not like the in-ear style earphones. They have a volume control button to turn the volume of your music up and down on the right ear bud side and also on the right ear bud there is a mic that can be used to record voice memos.

The Good
The sound quality of these earphones is good, I wouldn't go as far to say it is amazing, however music does sound good and crisp on these and also they do seem to cancel out exterior noise quite well too.

The remote control is handy, it means that when I have been listening to music for a long time on my iPhone and it has locked itself, that I do not have to take it out if my pocket and unlock it change the volume. It is very self explanatory, + turns volume up slightly and - slightly decreases it.

I'll be honest, I really only use these to listen to music, however I had a little play with the mic to write this review and have found that is works quite well and I didn't have much bother getting it to work. (Though for me this is a pointless feature as I never really use it.)
There is a good length of lead on these earphones, making them more comfortable to wear as they do not tug easily.

The Bad
These are not the most comfortable earphones I have ever used, I find that I prefer in-ear earphones. For a pair of ear buds however these are extremely hard to keep in my ears as they sometimes slip out when I tilt my head as they are too small for my ears, usually ear buds fit my ears perfectly.

I think that these earphones are really overpriced, you can buy these earphones for £27.99 in HMV. I think that these ear buds are really overpriced as they are not great quality and I would advise you to either buy the Gummy earphones for a third of the price or Skull Candy earphones which are about half the price of these as they are much better quality earphones and much cheaper too. As I said before, I got these earphones free with my iPhone 4s, I think that I would have been very disappointed if I would have bought them from the shop and spent £27.99 on them.

Overall
I think that these are an average pair of earphones, they have good sound quality and a little control to turn up and down the volume, but they are far to overpriced in my opinion. I got these free, and I am glad that I didn't waste money buying them. Overall I would give these 3 out of 5 stars, as they are average and overpriced.
