I have owned two of these Bluetrek G2 bluetooth headsets. They are cheap and cheerful coming in around £20, and basically you get what you pay for. They are a good economy product. Both headsets lasted around a year to two years. The first just stopped working and the second fell apart.
However for the price they did a fair service. The sound quality is pretty good for the user when fully charged. Though a number of people have said it is not always great for the person on the other end. It was functional for short conversations, but not the required quality that would encourage longer conversations.
I used the headset both with my mobile phone (nokia 6230i handset) and with my Dell laptop for skype conversations. It worked and linked easily to both although I could only pair it with one device and could not switch between the two without re-pairing the devices.
But overall a good cheap and cheerful solution.
Since this review I have also reviewed the Jabra BT125 bluetooth headset. If you would like to read this or any of my other reviews please click on my name above and select the review you require.
