Advantages: Good price, good brand, good quality

Disadvantages: Microphone is a little oversensitive, flashing light may annoy some

I purchased this bluetooth headset as I wanted to engage in some "kwality banter" with the cool dudes that use Call of Duty World at War on the Playstation 3.

It cost me the grand sum of £13.99 from eBay including the driver pack, which is a damn site cheaper than the official headset. Included in the box was a wall charger, instructions, USB lead, and car charger, as well as some interchangeable fascias. The unit itself looks quite sleek with its brushed black finish, and the ear mount thingie is easily moulded to the shape to your ear. It is quite comfortable to wear as unlike the cheapy units, the earpiece is made of a soft-touch plastic so doesn't chafe against the ear.

It is easy to set up, every is controlled by the big white button which flashes blue every 2-3 seconds when operational, though this can be annoying in a darkened room. It was very easy to get it to link with the PS3.

Sound quality is very good and voices come through clear, and my voice also goes through well. The only complaint I have is that the microphone can be over-sensitive, and will pick up and relay noises from the TV as well as my voice. This may annoy other PS3 players.

Battery life is very good, I probably get 5 or 6 hours use out of it before it needs charging, even then it only needs an hour to charge.

Overall, a great unit, but if you can pick up the official headset cheaply (under £18) then go for that.

Summary: Good bit of kit for not a lot of cash
