This looks weird if you don't know what it is, it is an oval shaped black device and has the Jabra logo on the front. It has a clip on bit behind it which slides over your sunvisor so that it stays in place which it does so very well. It has a round button which is a wheel at the same time which you will use a lot. It also has a light on it which is blue to say its connected and turns green when you are on a call. Lastly, it also has a slider button on the side which is to turn the device on and off and it has a slot to charge it with as well.
Now, the Jabra device has a lot of features, it isn't a brand I had heard of until receiving this as a gift but I have had it for a week and can safely say I am very impressed. The first thing to talk about is the getting it up and running process, now first thing to do is to charge it up which you can do with the USB cable to connect it to the PC or it does have the in car charger that it comes with as well which is handy when you're on the road but a bit annoying as the cable will be hanging down in front of you which I don't really like.
There is a little instruction book that comes with this as well which I also found useful but you need to leave the Jabra charging for a good few hours until it is ready to use and then you can put it into your car. To set it up turn the on switch on once it placed onto your sun visor and then get your mobile phone and turn on the bluetooth but hide it so not everyone can connect to you all of the time. Then, you just need to connect to the Jabra SP200 device which will show up and then you are pretty much good to go. To test it just dial someone from your phone and then it will dial through the Jabra and you can star speaking.
To adjust your call you just need to turn the wheel around and keep talking until you think you have the best sound quality. When someone rings you it will sound through the Jabra and to answer and close calls just click the circular button and it will instantly close or open calls to save you touching your phone. The battery life on this thing is great as yesterday I did a long distance drive in the car and this is was still going strong after a good 5 hours but they do say it has up to 10 hours talk time so when it charges fully it really does do a good job and it lasts. I usually charge it every 3 days or so to make sure the battery is always full.
I find the sound quality great with this device as well, I can always hear clearly and can be heard just as clear, sometimes you may go into bad signal areas but if so then it will be because your phone has no bars of signal so just redial later. The Jabra also has voice dialling on it which I haven't set up yet so basically if you want to ring someone without touching your phone you would just say 'mum' or whoever and it will start dialling them without touching your phone at all. This just makes life so much easier rather than touching your phone it's all done for your through this great gadget.
The weight of this is just 84g and it is L124mm x W56mm x D24mm. I don't take it out of the car often or I'll never put it back in. Just make sure with this that you turn it off, the good thing is though after 15 minutes it has an auto turn off facility so that if you forget the blue light won't stay on all night or whatever. It is handy and I usually turn it off anyway though just to save on power. There is not echo on calls also which I like unless you are speaking to someone who is in a loud place which does make the call get drowned out a bit.
I think the Jabra SP200 is a worthwhile investment, you don't even need to be a business person to have it. I drive to and from work and get frustrated when I see my phone ring and cannot answer it but thankfully this stops that frustration as you can talk when you see the phone ring now. It is just easier to use and saves you wearing an ear piece, it is fuss free and even looks quite stylish as well and for the price it isn't too bad either for what you are getting. I haven't any real negatives to bring up about this as it seems to be that reliable.
You can get this on Amazon for £16.95 which is a starting price and it has postage on top of that. I haven't really seen this on any other website at the minute but Amazon always do a good deal.
