The R / 55B features neodymium magnets for a frequency response of 20-20, 000Hz. Oxygen-free copper voice coils improve signal transmission. Open ear cups and variable density foam ear cushions allow sound to flow in and out of the stereophone to create a transparent sound. The adjustable headband is made of durable plastic to resist breakage and is extra wide for greater comfort and a better fit.
