I really hate to try to communicate with people and not being able to hear one another. Plus, sometimes laptop microphones are not great so you definitely need to get a tool to ensure your videoconference experience will be smooth as if you were in the same room with that person. Due to that necessity I opted to buy a headset from a really good company, as logitech indeed is.
This head set has turned out to be great, comfortable and just really pleasant to use. They feel really light even if they seem a bit heavy since they have big ear pieces making you think they would pull down your ears or that after a while you would be tired of wearing them (I have had that experience at work where your ears kind of ache from being pulled down). But that is not the case with these, instead you will love them so much that you won't want to hung up, or just forget you have them on while working, as has happened to me a few times.
However, I must say that the only downside they have, is that the rear bit that comes down by your neck sometimes prevents you to move your head backwards and it might be uncomfortable for those who like to talk while they are laid on the bed. Because that part makes you feel like you are going to make it snap if you put so much pressure on it. The sound quality is very good for just listening to music or chatting, obviously they aren't professional ones but still, for what you need they are good! The microphone also appears to be very clear and a good volume, none of my skype contacts have ever said they can't hear me or it's cracking up but that always happens when I just use my laptop mic.
Other than the back sometimes coming down too far, I think they are a really good product and it has definitely made my skyping more easy.
