I got these before discovering proper gaming headsets, but I needed something to communicate with. These have a built in microphone and earphones. The earphones are just not as good as the big headset I have now where you can hear everything when you are gaming. These do not enhance your gaming experience but they do allow you to communicate with other gamers and play without upsetting the whole house with loud noises.
I think these would be most suited to Skype users as they have a microphone, earphones but you don't look daft wearing them unlike the massive headsets. These are pretty cool though as they come with a nice storage case and a splitter lead. The lead converts the 1 x 3.5mm connector into two now, it should be compatible with lots of different formats, ie tablets, laptops and phones.
In terms of comfort, yes they fit in my ears well and yes they do not fall out but I do not find them to be overly comfortable. They feel like they are pushing inside my ears. I prefer the comfort of having something big on the outside of my ear rather than tucked inside. The microphone is good though, for something so small and reception is clear. I have not had a problem with being heard at all though this. They call this a gaming headset though and it really is not. This a pair of headphones with built in microphone.
Other than allowing others to hear you and have sound come into your ears directly rather than the room, gaming is not enhanced at all. When I use other headsets they allow me to heard things that I would usually miss, such as the rustle of grass, the little noises telling me I have someone approaching me. All this gets missed with these and all they do is let me communicate.
They are also really overpriced, I was expecting a much more enhanced product than I got and this disappointed me. The price should reflect the quality and it does not on this occasion, you are paying far too much. These costs around £34.99 and this is poor. Headphones should be around 10-20 pounds, they do not do anything special. They do come with a case though and the splitter lead is useful. I think these are being marketed wrong and should not be called gaming headsets at all, it is very misleading which is where I went wrong. I would not recommend them as you can get better products for a cheaper price. These are fine for Skype etc but they are still a bit overpriced, even for this.
