Sound quality is great; apparently the bass has been boosted in this model and it definitely feels like you're right in the middle of the action if you're watching a movie, or next to the person you're speaking to if you're making a web call. The Philips SHM6100 headset is an amazingly light model. It fits behind the head instead of on top of your head, eliminating that dreaded headphone-hair look. It's also got an adjustable microphone that rotates almost 270 degrees, though why you'd want your headphone directed to your ear, I don't know.
