I bought these for my daughter who loves to run about while listening to music, but cant have cables or hold the ipod.
Build quality on the headphones are really very impressive. Solid build and a hard tough feel to the strap. The Cups are large and slide up and down as well as have tilt to and fro.
The Right ear cup has buttons for power, volume up and down, a level for fast forward and rewind, that controls your player if it supports it. It also has a next and last buttons for the same control.
The headset hold nicely into itself and stores in a supplied leatherette bag, along with the charger. Which connect again to the left ear cup at the bottom. It charges well and seams to hold its charge in storage which is always nice.
The Heaphones as large cup based deliver some nice bass, although sometimes this can be a bit too much for my taste, and i will cut it off at source. The fit on the head is comfortable enough to wear for 2 or 3 hours, although by this time my ears are starting to get sore from the padding.
The headset also works as a bluetooth hands free kit, using the microphone in the right cup. The mic is on the front facing side of the cup, so that it points in the direction you are facing. This means that it is completly useless outside. A small ammout of wind is turned into deafing wind noise that drowns out your voice. Inside it works well enough for a quick chat while your listening to you music, but anything more than this and your want to swap for the phone itself or for annother hands free kit.
Blutooth paring is done on a semi automatoc basis. Its set to code 0000, and holding down the power button starts the headset seaching for annother device in seach mode. Two lights blue and purple flash on the cup to let you know its working.
The blue light also flashes when the headphones are in use. Which took a while to get used to as i used to to watch a few films in the dark, and the flash is quite bright.
