Advantages: Allows you to function your phone and talk with no wires, Small and light, Relatively inexpensive compared to the fine you can get for driving with a mobile in hand!

Disadvantages: People would look at you funny in the street wearing one!

I purchased the Sony Ericsson HBH-60 headset from www.formymobile.co.uk last month to use whilst driving (to stay in line with the new laws coming in) but have also ended up using it around the house because it's so much better than holding the phone to your face all the time!

The headset supports voice dialing, answer and reject incoming calls and has a connecting range to your phone of up to 30 feet. The voice quality through this headset is better than the Nokia headset I tried previously. When I tested the range, 30 feet range seems very easy to achieve. Even though the headset does not need line of sight, the voice quality however does show degradation with walls and floors between your phone and the headset.

The manual says the HBH-60 has 2.5 hours of talk time and up to 70 hours of standby and my experience seems to match that

It's small in size and lightweight & can be used in the left or right ear. The action keypad in the middle of the headset is very easy to access for accepting or ending calls. There are two volume buttons to adjust the ringtone or voice up or down.

Using it with my Nokia 3650 was easy: follow the instructions in the manual to charge the battery and turn on the headset. Press the call handling button with the unit off until the indicator light flashes red and green alternately, and you?re ready to pair with your phone! It's that simple to use!

I like the ability to mute and check the battery status from the unit & I liked how light the headset was: it doesn't tug at your ear or make it uncomfortable.

Overall, I feel I got value for money and shall be using the headset for a long time to come

Tim
