Gouda Health Insurance

I am in the process of researching Gouda insurance to make sure they exist. I have hosted an exchange student from Germany and she paid for insurance through an exchange organization who uses Gouda for their travel insurance. On 3 occassions the student went to the dr while she was with us for minor situations such as an ear infection and a physical. She was told to pay up front and Gouda would reimburse her. She has never seen a penny. We have currently found out from other exchange student host families that they had the same problem. Basically Gouda is getting paid for 0 services rendered and getting away with it. As of right now, I would not recommend this company in any way.
