... Like all Private Medical insurance will pay for "acute" treatments only. That is when you are told it cannot be "fixed" and is chronic (cannot be fixed) the benefits stop. I was with WPA but found them very quick on this rule. I now use a broker www.UKhealthinsurance.biz who help me switch to a more understanding insurer. I have since moved 3 times to get better £ & cover even for my old medical stuff....

... joined United Patients 4 yrs ago after having had numerous other medical policies over the years and i can honestly say that i have never been with a better company. Every year i am encouraged and reminded to use their annual health screening at Harley Street. This is for the purposes of preventing illnesses and detecting any problems at the early stages. I ve had exactley the same screening with Bupa - but had to pay £385!! With United Patients it s FREE of charge each year to members! It s the only insurance i know that let s you use it, and looks after you, withOUT being ill and in hospital! I bearly pay £3 per week for the policy (£12 p/m or £145 per year) and ...

... Patients is one of the worst insurance providers that I have ever come accross. I say this because the complete experience is terrible. To start the Shopping experience is a nightmare. They have got a hard sales stategy and they will keep you on the phone for almost an hour and literally bully you into buying their product. The user experience is even more worse. The tests at Harley street are no better than what my GP can do. The hotel accomodation is horrible because you have they charge you extortionately for the food whether you eat or not!!!!! They don t cover you for pre-existing conditions... This leaves nothing else in their plan because the rest of the ben...
