Marks & Spencer (M&S) Money is the financial services arm of M&S and offers a range of products including credit cards, personal loans, foreign exchange and insurance. M&S money market a simple, straightforward life assurance plan. The cover under the policy is provided by mega-global-super bank HSBC. So, what we have is a customer buying what is packaged as "M&S Life Assurance" from their favourite underwear and chocolate teacake retailer but actually forming a contract of insurance with HSBC. Norwich Union ... take out health insurance so that when things go wrong, they get a seamless, high quality, professional service. The true test of medical insurance is how things are handled when you need them. When you need rapid access to healthcare professionals, don t expect Norwich Union to make things easy for you. When I had a recent accident, rather than helping to line up the help I needed, they started demanding information from my GP. When they got the information, they said it wasn t enough. Remember that many GPs will take a week or so to get a letter to them. They asked my GP for more information. They then say they will review your claim in 5 days. It took me almos... Boots Health Plan Insurance ... NOT take out this plan. ESPECIALLY THE PRIVATE PLAN! You get very little back towards the treatment costs. I was told by the adviser that t could be because my dentist is expensive, on futher investigation with other private dentist in my area he is quite reasonable. Another VERY VERY BAD point of this plan is that they do not collect your Direct Debits. BUT ALSO DO NOT CONTACT YOU UNTIL 7 MONTHS LATER TO ASK TO COLLECT THE FULL 7 MISSED PREMIUMS! EVEN THOUGH YOU HAVE BEEN CALLING THEM EVERY MONTH ON A PREMIUM NUMBER TO ASK THEM TO TAKE YOUR MONEY. Im suprised thay are still in operation as 3 of my friends who also took out this plan have had the exact same problem...
