United Patients ... Patients is one of the worst insurance providers that I have ever come accross. I say this because the complete experience is terrible. To start the Shopping experience is a nightmare. They have got a hard sales stategy and they will keep you on the phone for almost an hour and literally bully you into buying their product. The user experience is even more worse. The tests at Harley street are no better than what my GP can do. The hotel accomodation is horrible because you have they charge you extortionately for the food whether you eat or not!!!!! They don t cover you for pre-existing conditions... International Medical Group (IMG) ... Europe is a subsidiary of International Medical Group of indiana, USA. The insurer is based in Sweden. In 2005 International Medical Group and their underwriter Sirius International Insurance was fined $836,344 by Florida state government, because they had denied proper medical claims. Recently they were denied a license in Florida and there is an ongoing investigation. Their own previous lawyer is sueing International Medical Group, claiming they breached his employment contract. HSA Healthcare ... we first saw an advertisement for HSA we looked at it a couple times and that saying of if it looks too good to be true then it is came to mind. This though, if you choose the right option is the exception to the rule. Anyway we looked this up and decided to go for it. Very simply every week you pay the amount of the option you choose to HSA payable monthly through direct debit and you can claim cash back for certain treatments. You can join singly, as a couple or for a family. Family can go on yours up to the age of 18 when they can get their own healthcare benefits. We pay £17.32 a month for the two of us.
