I am disabled and have to use a mobility scooter for when I go travelling anywhere outdoors so I can get around happily, but I can become incredibly cold in the winter months as my hands are on the handle of the scooter all the time even though I do always wear gloves my hands are frozen most of the time and my hubby saw these little hand warmers for me to place into my gloves to keep my hands warm for awhile. He bought them for only 99p for a pack of 2 from Home-Bargains store and they are a hard plastic disc with a gel inside which is solid when first bought and all you need to do with them is click a little popper that is at the side of the disc and a white gel floats around the disc and as it does it, it starts to heat up beautifully and the heat is just the right amount to hold in the hand or in my case, place into my gloves and it stays hot for around 40 minutes or so and then as it goes cold it begins to become solid gel again, but while it is hot the gel is soft and the plastic covering is soft also. After use they can then be placed into a saucepan and boiled for around 5 minutes and when they cool down they are regenerated again and become solid and then they are ready for use again and the same process is used as the first time and they can be used over and over again in the same way. I have tried lots of different kinds of these types of gel discs but the others are for one use only but with these they can be used many times and I have used mine since the beginning of last winter and they are just as good as the day they were bought for me. My hubby went back again to the shop and bought me another 3 packs of 2 to keep for extras and he uses a couple to take with him in the winter for when he goes fishing as his hands can get a little cold and he keeps these warmers in his pocket and at least he keeps the hands warm for a while at least, and a lot of men use these kind of warmers as my hubby once went to a sports store to buy some, almost exactly the same but they were the throw away kind and where priced at around £4 and so the ones I bought were better value for money and reusable. I gave my mother in law a couple as she had a little muscular pain in her hips and she just placed them in her trousers and it did ease the pain for a while. I recommend these warmers for anyone to give a try as they are very good and excellent value for money and as they are reusable, that is a bonus in my opinion. I give them 5 stars. Thank you for reading my review.
