Advantages: Natural

Disadvantages: Don't work

I have being trying to lose weight (3 stone) ever since having Kai and I've managed to lose 2 stone in a year simply by eating healthily and having smaller portions. My weight has plateaued for the past couple of months though and I decided to try some slimming pills to try & shift the last stone before the warmer weather because I feel uncomfortable at this weight.

I bought them in January. I chose these ones because they're herbal, and since having Kai I have tried to be more aware and careful of what I put into my body so they seemed better than the more chemical filled diet pills that are available. I bought one pack of 100 pills from the chemist near me, and I paid about £10 which I didn't think was too expensive for so many pills. You need to take 3 pills a day but a pack still lasts for several months.

The pills come in a box with instructions and the pills themselves are in the normal blister pack packaging ans theyre small, round and green. The pills are really easy to swallow (but could be halved easily if you struggle even with small pills) and I used to take one before each of my 3 daily meals. I say used to because I stopped taking them after 2 months because they made no difference.

At first I felt a bit better when I first started taking them because I thought they would do me some good and I thought they'd help burn fat quicker but I didn't lose any more weight than I do normally (I lose about 1lb a week normally & this didn't increase). So the claim that they help speed weight loss up isn't the case.

I have taken diet pills in the past which have made me feel high & light-headed-/strange but because these are natural they didn't have any effect on how I felt mentally which is of course a good thing! They don't work though, not for me anyway. They contain lactose too which made my stomach hurt and I only released they contained it after reading the instruction manual properly (which I knows should have done in the first place but I was excited to try them). I think it should be written of the box so that people realise this.

Summary: Wouldn't buy again
