Benylin Chesty Coughs Non-Drowsy ... is a cough medicine which is made for chesty coughs. It is made by the well known company Benylin. They make all sorts of cough medicine for all different types of coughs. The chesty cough one that I bought was the non drowsy version. It is packaged in a cardboard box and is red in colour. The bottle itself is made from brown glass. It contains Guaifenesin and Levomenthol. There are clear usage instructions on the box and in the leaflet inside. Adults and children over 12 can take two 5ml spoons of this cough medicine up to four times per day. Children between 6 and 12 years old can take one 5 ml spoonful up to four times per day. Benylin Chesty Coughs Original ... was a massive coughing fit! I called NHS direct for advise. Without going into too much yukky details as the color of things had changed they said the bacterial infection had gone but I was still left with a lot of stuff that I needed to get a linctus to help get rid of. They advised I popped to a local pharmacy to speak to the pharmacist and get what they recommended. So I came home with Benylin Chesty Coughs Original at £4.29 for a 150ml glass bottle in a red/purple box. Benylin Cough and Flu Remedies in general ... Childrens Tickly Cough medicine works wonders!! I have just popped out to buy my child some medicine for his poorly cough and stumbled across this in ASDA. The medicina cost around 2 pounds 50 and comes ina small box, within the box there is a measuring spoon (2.5ml and 5ml - one each end) and a glass jar containing the medicine itself. The medicine has a screw on safety cap to prevent any unwanted hands inside of it (i.e. baby!! lol) and has directions for use stuck via a label on the bottle. I gave my baby a 5ml spoon full at around 10.00am and from then to now his cough has cleared right up, ..ok his cough has not completley gone but it has improved alot...
