Having drank far too much and eaten too many Heinz backed bean pizza’s (very nice do try one) I have been feeling a bit ‘floopy’ (technical term for crappy). I felt tired all the time and looked like I’d just been dug up. A bit of research suggested I try the Bio Light 3 day Detox. Most of the alternatives to this meant a 7 day course (not bloody likely), or regimes that were more specifically for loosing weight. Whilst the Bio Light has been included in the diet section of Dooyoo this is not the primary function of the plan. The blurb states the detox can ‘Provide your digestive system with a kick start and when ... Read the complete review

I purchased some Bio-Light from Boots because it was on offer, I believe I paid about £3 for a 200ml bottle which should have been around £10. Bio-Light is a 3 days detox formula and is available in several flavours, I purchased the woodland fruits flavour. Bio-Light comes in a glass bottle with a security lid. The liquid must be consumed in 3 doses and to help you there are markers down the side of the bottle so you can easily divide the liquid. To use Bio-Light you mix 1/3 of the bottle with 1.5 litres of either filtered tap water or bottled water/minneral water. Through the day you drink the mixture. You do this for 3 ... I decided to detox after I'd had enough of waking up every morning looking like Yoda. I'd read that dark bags under the eyes are due to toxic build-up, I'd had enough of paying for eye creams that weren't miraculous enough, and I reckoned I could do with a clean-out anyway. I chose the 3-day detox as a practice run-up to doing a longer detox in future. What you get for your thirteen quid is is a 200ml bottle of concentrated detox drink. Ingredients are: aromatic aqueous plant extract (purified water, clove, wheatgerm, liquorice, cinnamon, ocean kelp, juniper, clam, ginger, caraway, soya, yeast, fenugreek, verbena); fruit juices (raspberry, prune, ... Well, it sounded like a good idea - in just three days I could cleanse my system, loose weight, improve my skin and increase my enegery levels. Who wouldn't want to do that? The idea is simple - just drink the bio-lite drink (dilluted in water) and eat healthily. Sadly the reality was that the drink was vile. I tried the rasberry based flavour and then the blackberry/blackcurrant based flavour. I can normally make myself eat and drink most things for a good cause, but this was impossible. They stank and were utterly revolting. I got my boyfriend and sister to test them, and they both agreed that they would have to be paid an awful lot of money to go ... Read the complete review

Having been on weight watchers and then going on holiday and ignored the diet I needed to lose the weight I put on before my next meeting! I also liked the idea of a detox. I have given up already on day 1. I have the strawberry mix which is absolutely disgusting, I have managed to drink about a litre of it but alas, I cannot go on. It may do wonders but I've felt really woozy all day! If you want to lose weight I reccommend weight watchers and if you want to detox, go to a large branded chemist and buy their tablets and take them for a month. Much easier! ...
