Cold sores (Herpes Simplex) are a horrible, disfiguring, inconvenience of a blight visited on us by the Gods of Ugliness! I hate them with a passion! I have had them with less regularity since the introduction of Zovirax which has really helped, but every so often one breaks out on my lip. Ugh! I have suffered from cold sores pretty much my entire adult life ever since I was a teenager. It doesn't matter how healthy I try and be or what I use on my lips every winter without fail sometimes for weeks at a time I get them. I quite like these Compeed cold sore patches but unfortunately I can only use them occasionally as usually when I get a cold sore it ends up spreading and I end up with a few of them clustered around my top lip.
