Advantages: One can improve what they don't like

Disadvantages: Not the real you

In a society that is obsessed with perfection - more and more people are becoming addicted to surgically enhancing/transforming their bodies to please the world around them. Ok, so I understand the notion of 'If you don't like soemthing, fix it' - but have people ever thought about why they don't like a certain part of their body? Is it because when they look into a mirror, they don't see an image that resembles one of the 284394 apparently flawless models in magazines? Lighting, make-up and hours of pampering, people, can perform magic.

You wish for bigger boobs, a smaller ass, thinner thighs or a smaller nose - but instead you are apparently stuck with what you have been presented with by nature. Don't get me wrong - I am not content with my body. Far from it. I have much more insecurities about myself than you can ever imagine - but instead of blaming God (or similar element) for blessing me with an imperfect body - I try let go and deal with it. What else am I supposed to do? Yes, the media is a bitch when they try to suffocate you with images of beautiful and seemingly perfect people everywhere - but don't worry, it is perfectly natural for you to want to commit suicide everytime you flick through a copy of FHM and realise that there is a very small chance of you to ever transform into the almost immortal image that you see presented before you. But trust me, there is. Everybody can look beautiful.

The cliché beauty exists only in the eyes of the beholder is very true. Owing entirely to personal opinions, it is impossible to give a universal definition of what is 'beautiful'. Therefore, it is equally as challenging to define what is 'ugly'. Learn to realise that although you may be seen as beautiful by one person - the next could think you are an absolute minger.

The simple truth is, you are already perfect.

'I do not need plastic surgery', 'I do not need plastic surgery'. I'll keep telling myself! Nice op. Glad you seem to be enjoying dooyoo so far.
