The pocket guide is fantastic for keeping in your bag, as the foods are split into sections of, fruit & veg, meat, larder etc. The back of the book is in alphabetical order with a small traffic light dot next to it.... couldn't be simpler! I have been following the GI diet by Richard Gallop. I invested in two books after much research. The GI Diet@ The Easy, Healthy Way to Permanent Weight Loss by Richard Gallop and The GI Diet Pocket Guide, by Richard Gallop. Both of the books are in paperback, so reasonable to buy and easier on the pocket. I paid £6.50 for them both from Amazon.co.uk. The pocket guide is fantastic for keeping in your bag, as the foods are split into sections of, fruit & veg, meat, larder etc. The back of the book is in alphabetical order with a small traffic light dot next to it.... couldn't be simpler! I won't go into too much detail about how the diet works, ...

The GI Diet. ************* Before I start this review it is important to note that I am not a dieter and I don't need to lose weight. I feel qualified to comment on the Glycaemic Diet (GI) because I am involved in conducting research into relationships between diet and wellbeing and thus I know ALOT about this area. In addition I follow a very healthy eating plan which conforms to a low GI eating plan.
