Advantages: Stopps the runs
Disadvantages: ?
A little something for the holiday sir/madam Travel broadens the mind, and loosens the bowels Imodium Well this is what I take, diarrhoea Imodium. I have taken this for as long as I remember I have suffered occasionally with diarrhoea on holiday and at home and I find Imodium works well for me its effective quickly (like sticking a cork up the!) My husband finds it almost too effective can't go ? for ages after! I take the capsule form doesn't taste too pleasant but if it cures the runs! Nothing worse than having diarrhoea on holiday ,especially as we are usually in the countryside on long walks, no toilet just bushes. Diarrhoea doesn't always happen on holiday maybe I have eaten something dodgy, too many curry's. If you should suffer from diarrhoea make sure you drink lots , not fizzy drinks or tea .Eat little, just plain foods crackers or toast . When I worked in a children's home we used to "starve" the children for 24 hrs if they got diarrhoea .if diarrhoea continues get medical advice Well Imodium comes in various forms, Liquid, Capsule, 6,8,12,18. Instant melt 6,12 Plus chewable 6,12, 18 Imodium contains loperamide Imodium plus also contains simethicone which eases wind and bloating The website www.imodium.co.uk (I checked to see if my information was correct) gives some very useful information and a voucher for 50p of a packet of Imodium. As with any medicine read the information on the packet before taking. Imodium is not suitable for children under 12 Thank you for reading I hope you do not need this medicine but I find its always useful to take on holiday just in case, even if you follow the guide lines it is possible to get it. Of avoiding Cold meat Shellfish, raw fish Unpasteurised milk Reheated food No ice. No tap water No food that
has been in the hot sun and wash your hands frequently. Thanks again Mary
