Advantages: fresh, minty, nice taste
Disadvantages: taste does not last lone enough, expensive per swill
Listerine mint mouthwash is a mouthwash that tastes of mint.
The taste is important, as that is why you are using it, to leave a good taste in your mouth, that lasts for quite a while and helps you fight bad breath, gum disease, gingivitis and also helps the fight against plaque.
This is done mainly by the active ingredients such as;
Active Ingredients: Contains: Thymol (0.064%), Eucalyptol (0.092%), Methyl Salicylate (0.060%), Menthol (0.042%)
And inactive ingredients for you wannabe reviews.
Inactive Ingredients: Water, Alcohol (21.6%), Sorbitol Solution, Flavoring, Poloxamer 407, Benzoic Acid, Sodium Saccharin, Sodium Benzoate, FD&C Green 3
Comes in a plastic bottle or a glass bottle, size depending.
Sits on my window ledge and looks very nice when the sun shines through it.
Yawn.
Anyway, I find it works well giving me a fresh taste in my mouth that lasts about 2-3 hours or until I grab my first coffee of the day.
Does help to get the bits of food out of my teeth and makes them a bit brighter than just brushing.
Good old minty taste that tastes of good old mint.
Now, you can add a bit of this to a cocktail drink and it gives you a refreshing taste although strictly speaking you should not do this as it is probably wrong on the advice of a doctor or the likes, but it does me no harm and I just tell people it is crème de menthe if they ask.
But hey.
Costs vary but £1.50 to £4.00 depending on size and 49p for a travel bottle that fits into your inside pocket from Superdrug.
