“ Brand: Proteam / Type: Foam Insoles „
Little Miss recently bought some shoes which whilst they were the right size, seemed to be slipping off her feet as they were quite wide- fashion pumps not fitted school shoes. We bought these insoles in an attempt to solve the problem and so ensure she could wear them without them falling off.
PRICE AND AVAILABILITY...
The insoles cost £1.99 from out local chemist and they came packaged in a plastic blister pack which has to be cut open.
The blurb on the packaging makes a number of promises and extols the virtues of the insoles:
* Anti shock
* Moulds to feet for comfort
* Relieves pressure on balls of feet
* Prevents heel shock by cushioning every step
* Supports the arch of the foot
* Increases stability by cradling the foot and preventing foot roll
Lots of promises and all we want is for the shoes to seem to be a bit smaller and stay on her feet.
PRODUCT AND PACKAGING...
The insoles themselves are quite thick and on the insoles there are lines indicating where they should be cut for different shoe sizes from size 2 to size 11. I cut the soles to a size 2 and using normal scissors they were very easy to cut. When we put them into the shoes we found that the sizing on the insoles chart was very close to the size 2 of the shoes, and they were a nice snug fit.
The insoles are easy to cut to size and fit easily into the shoes. They have definitely made a difference to the shoes which now don't fall off and have been declared by Little Miss to be very comfortable. They are very soft and padded and do mould easily into the shape of the foot.
I don't know how good they are at relieving pressure and supporting the arch but for our needs they have proved invaluable.
