SlimFast

Slim Fast are a diet foods company that suggest you replace one or two of your ordinary meals every day with one of their shakes, in order to loose weight(They have recently started making more stuff, including bars,soups, fruit smoothies etc but I will mostly be reviewing the shakes) The shakes either come ready made in a small bottle or as large tin of powder which you mix with skim milk. Although Slimfast is a diet food, I am not actively seeking to lose weight, but rather maintain a healthy weight and stop eating as much chocolate. Whilst in my Local Wilkinsons store, I noticed that they had the slimfast range on special offer of buy one get one free. ~~~ I tried ~~~ The snack bars were 49p each so I bought some to give them a try. The bars I got were Cranberry, Raisin and Almonds. They are 94 calories. They also contain oatflakes and pumpkin seeds amongst the sugar and glucose syrup. This is the first review I have ever written, I wouldn't usually bother however the amount of Slim Fast reviews I have read with people complaining about trivial matters such as the taste, or the fact that they couldn't go a single day on the regime angers me very much, that's hardly helpful advice is it? No diet is easy, it's a simple fact. Eating 'healthy' is all very well if you have a pound or two to loose but anything in excess of that I feel something more drastic is needed to achieve weight loss. If you have had the chance to read my previous reviews you'll know that I'm getting married in November. So for that reason I decided I wanted to lose some weight for the big day. I have probably tried just about every diet under the sun. I haven?t always been on the cuddly side, it?s only after the children that the weight sticks like glue. I am currently on the Rosemary Conley diet and I?m doing quite well. Unfortunately I?m at the slowing down stage where you only seem to loose a pound on week or stay the same.
