... cotton buds with you. The bag is very efficient at keeping the buds together till you need them, keeping them hygienically clean. Each cotton bud has a white stick which is 3 inches (7.5cm) in length and quite comfortable to use. There is a uniform amount of cotton wound well around each end. I have never found that any of these have lost their cotton, or you randomly come across some that have really fat or thin ends. These buds are really versatile little items in our house. I use them for beauty purposes - mainly c...more

Tesco Loves Baby Cotton buds: My little buds (582 words)

Cotton buds are one of those versatile items that I think must be in everyone's home. Over the years I have bought many of them from different brands. For a while I only bought the expensive branded ones as I bought some cheaper ones and found that the cotton fell off the end very easily leaving a sharp and dangerous plastic stick behind. I have to say, the first thing that swayed me towards this Tesco brand was price - at just 90p for 300 of them, stored within a little plastic bag, I was happy to spend this amount to see if we liked the product compared to our usual brand. I also really like the fact they are in a bag and not a pot, as I think this allows ...  Read the complete review

Tesco loves baby and I love these (428 words)

I use cotton wool buds for a variety of different purposes, like a lot of people, I suppose. I am not really loyal to one particular brand, but anyone who reads a lot of my reviews will be fully aware that I do favour Tesco's own brand of products a lot, and their Tesco Loves Baby cotton buds are one of my favourites. They are a brilliant price, well made and much cheaper to buy them from the baby aisle than they are from the cosmetic / make up aisle. These buds cost me only 39p if I go for the smaller sized tub but it's actually a lot more economical to buy the larger size, which comes in at 80p for 300 buds. Either way, they are great value. They are in ...  Read the complete review

Tesco Loves Baby Cotton buds: Bud-Tastic! (526 words)

==PRICE== A small container of Tesco 100 cotton buds were purchased from the baby care aisle at my local Tesco. They were priced at around 39p which was a great bargain price compared to other branded names charging over £1.00 just for cotton buds, therefore I decided to save some money and purchase the Tesco branded version instead of the more expensive branded versions. ==DESIGN== The cotton buds are enclosed in a small cylinder transparent container made from plastic. The container is nice and compact and easy to unwrap and open, with each cotton bud neatly organised into a buddle. I like the way ...  Read the complete review

Tesco Cotton Buds love Baby and Me! (582 words)

I bought these from Tesco quite afew months ago, so long ago that the packaging has changed to the above picture on this site since then! But the product is still the same. I bought them because they were cheap ( below the pound mark for 300 ) and its one of those products that we use in the house. I was always under the impression that cotton buds were to clean the ears, especially babies. But apparently thats not the case, as it easy to damage the ear by incorrect use and applying too much pressure. What is this product? The main body is a lon and thin stick made from polypropylene. On each end of the stick there is a small ...  Read the complete review

Tesco Loves Baby Cotton buds: For 'baby' and me. (499 words)

An essential item on my bathroom shelf is cotton buds. After trying some Forever Friends cotton buds from the Poundshop, which turned out to be sticks of bendy plastic with barely enough cotton wool on them to cover the sharp ends, I decided it was time to purchase something that was better quality. While in Tesco I spotted a tub of 200 Johnson's cotton buds on offer for a £1, just as I was about to pick them up I noticed a tub of Tesco own branded 'baby' cotton buds at a slightly better price of 39p for 100 (making them 78p for 200). Unable to resist saving a few pennies and satisfied that the amount of cotton wool on each end was comparable to the Johnson's ...  Read the complete review
