WHAT IS THE BEST DIET? I am over weight again and for my new year's resolution I vowed to try and loose weight. Well, I have found a diet that is suitable for me. It is called the Cambridge Diet. I have been on this diet for 3 days so far. It consists of having 3 meals a day for the first two weeks using their own food. This is milk shakes and soups along with biscuit bars later in the diet. The first two weeks I will be having 3 meals - 1 shake in the morning and lunch a soup and dinner a soup. These meals have all the vitamins and food that a person needs so the diet is completely safe to do. This way of dieting has been around for many ...

I have read the reviews on this page about the Cambridge diet. I did this diet years ago as well but the one thing the reviews are missing is that you are not suppose to stay on just the liquids for more then two weeks. After the two weeks you are suppose to add food to it. Meaning you may just drink or eat a supplement at breakfast and or lunch but then drink a supplement and add a meal at dinner. Very much like what you see for Slim Fast. So it does teach you health habits. You just have to read the whole diet and not just the beginning part. And yes you may feel hunger but isn't our desire to have that full tummy feeling is what made us fat and in need of this ...

I have been on the Cambridge diet for 8 weeks and have lost a total of 2st 4lbs. It is not the easiest diet but then I dont think there is an easy diet (or we would all be slim!). I am learning a lot about my attitude to food and how I use it when I have emotional issues. There are different stages to the diet depending on you and the amount of weight you want/need to lose. I am doing the Sole Source (SS) which consists of 3 milkshakes/soups a day (for women under 5ft 10) and 4 milkshakes for men and taller women. After 2 weeks you can have one bar a day and use the premixed milkshakes. The bars are really nice and there are alot of flavours, the tetra packs only ...
