... it splits and bleeds or gets wet when you eat and drink. It's very unsightly. Having a coldsore is an absolute misery and for two to three weeks (that's how long it used to take for mine to completely go) it's bloody painful, ugly, soggy and bleedy! YUK!!! I have suffered from coldsores all my life. In the past I would get one and that would enevitibly lead to another one or two. I once went to the Isles of Scilly and ended up with three on my top lip and two on the bottom one - all at the same time... OUCH!!! I've been plagued by coldsores and often, most months, I'd get one or two of them.
