Advantages: None!

Disadvantages: It makes my eyes red

Hay fever is defined as "n. An allergic condition affecting the mucous membranes of the upper
respiratory tract and the eyes, most often characterized by nasal discharge,
sneezing, and itchy, watery eyes and usually caused by an abnormal sensitivity
to airborne pollen."

I suffer from it. I begin feeling the symptons when spring comes, which can be in April, and normally I am clear of it not earlier than end of July.

I take tablets every day during the peak of the season. These days most products available are not causing any drowsiness, and anyway I do not do a job which requires me to be alert all the time (I work in a an office LOL!)

When I am really affected, I have constant sneezing, which in our office with an open floor, is always echoed but few other poor souls like me. I get many "bless you" from my colleagues. There are always few days of the year when my eyes are red, and although I know that the best thing to do is not to rub them, it is hard not do it. I go very often to the bathroom to pour water on my face, which some how mitigates the effects of hay fever.

For me there is no real remedy to hay fever and I have to live with it.

Summary: I have to live with it

Hayfever is not a very nice thing to have and can spoil the summer months. I find taking Piriton works for me the best. Good Review

My daughter has hayfever which sometimes is really severe, so you have my sympathy.

perhaps some idea on what is available for hayfever sufferers would have been helpful and a price guide? but otherwise nice story. I am sorry you suffer so much.
