It makes me mad when I hear people saying "your pregnant your not ill". Anyone that has suffered from Hyperemesis will agree with me. It all started when I was 6 weeks pregnant, literally over night I went from being fine to being sick. Now when I say sick I literally mean 24/7. I'm writing this between visits to the toilet, so bear with me if it's a little bit disjointed. I've already got four children so I knew what I was letting myself in for. When i was 21 i fell pregnant which was an accident but none the less i was happy and excited. About a week after i discovered i was pregnant i started to be sick which wasnt a problem at first until gradually that was all i seemed to do. Hyperemesis Gravidarum (HG) is a medical condition I had never heard of before I was pregnant last year. It is an extremely sever version of morning sickness and can be described as unrelenting, extreme nausea and/or vomiting during pregnancy which prevents an adequate intake of food and fluid.
